About

After completing a Masters degree from University of Queensland in 2020, I gained extensive experience working in both community mental health and private practice settings. I have worked with individuals of all ages, including children, adults, and families, dealing with a range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, stress, burnout, trauma, and relationship issues.
In my practice, I utilise an eclectic approach informed by evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS), Mindfulness based interventions, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) to tailor treatment plans to the unique needs of my clients. I also place a strong emphasis on psychodynamic and humanistic frameworks. These frameworks focus on therapeutic relationship as a way to understand client’s relationship with others outside of therapy.
I believe that therapy sessions are a space to understand oneself in a holistic manner. When the fit between the therapist and client is right, clients feel safe to express and connect with their true self. It’s a journey of self discovery which can be challenging and rewarding at the same time. I hope to provide a safe space, non judgemental stance and unconditional positive regard for clients to explore their inner world and move towards a holistic sense of being.
