Individual Therapy

Individual therapy sessions are a safe and nurturing space for individuals to embark on a transformative journey of self-discovery and healing.

I offer therapy sessions that are guided by an integrated approach that combines the principles of cognitive therapy, behavioural therapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS), humanistic psychology, and psychodynamic frameworks.

Sessions are tailored to your goals and needs focusing on:

  • exploration of your early experiences and its impact on your current wellbeing

  • fostering awareness, understanding and acceptance of emotional experiences

  • acknowledging and expressing your needs in a healthy manner

  • identifying and challenging negative beliefs and patterns

  • enhancing your overall self-awareness, and developing effective coping strategies

  • fostering self-actualization and personal growth

  • helping you connect with your values and beliefs, encouraging you to embrace your authentic self

  • using mindfulness based strategies to foster present moment awareness, self acceptance and calmness

Therapy is a collaborative process. It involves addressing difficult topics. I hope to provide the space and support for you sit with the discomfort and embrace challenges.

Fees

Individual therapy session cost is $230 per session and duration is 50 minutes. When you get a Mental Health Care Plan from a GP, you are entitled to a rebate of $141.85 which makes the out of pocket fees $88.15.
